I have always loved animals. Growing up as a child, I would spend my evenings reading natural history books or watching David Attenborough documentaries. As soon as I understood even the slightest bit about how cameras work animals were the first things I would photograph… or try to. Learning how to take well crafted images of animals has been one of the hardest challenges for me. Animals have no intention of making it easy for you, so adapting to the environment and observing the behaviours of various species to predict their movements is the key to success. It requires patience, a lot of it, but also passion, determination and reverence. If you give the natural world a chance it will put on a show that will always take your breath away.
